Corporate Headquarters Selects Retail Stores Employees Instead of the Local Retail Stores

I am sadden today. In my town, most stores like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Lowes, RadioShack, Home Depot, BlockBuster, and others no longer have control at the local level in picking their employees. The Corporate headquarter picks the employees for each stores. It would not be so bad if it was humans picking the employees but it is a computer selection process. How is the stores like this connecting to their communities if they are not picking their employees from the local communities?

This is another reason why people do not know who their neighbors are. This is why when you go into one of these stores, the employees look unhappy to be there. It would be a fun atmosphere if the employees would selecting by employers who will work closely with them, and they was customers as well before they starting working there. For managers and employees knows their communities better then the corporate headquarters.
